Spring Break Sledding!!

Turn your sound up for this!! We took the kids sledding for Spring Break- it was GREAT!! I wanted to post this Video of Jake it is funny. (several family members requested it) He decided to sled down this huge hill and realised half way down it was a big "drop off" it was hilarious! You can hear it in his voice on the video, we all laughed so hard it was so funny!! And of course nobody wanted to go again!

What The Spring?!?

So we thought we would take the kids fishing on Spring Break-NOT!! We went up Fairview Canyon to go fishing, but there was to much snow about 18 feet of it!!! Jake took out his good old tape measure and measured it-CRAZY! (he is always careing a tape measure) The picture of the "out house" is were the lake sits-it was all snowed in!! We threw the sleds in and had a great time!! I think that was one of the funnest times we have ever had sledding, huge hills and big laughs-Mostly at ourselves!! FUN TIMES! The kids are still laughing about it!

If You've Had A Birthday Shout Hooray!

Marcus had his 6th Birthday April 12th on Easter! What a fun day for Marcus. He is such a sweet little boy, I am so thankful for him!! He can lighten up any bad day with a nice comment or just a quite hug. Marcus has had a rough winter, he has been sick alot this winter, hopefully we are on the uphill for Spring. Marcus is in Kindergarten this year and he loves it! He is doing great and has been reading since about Thanksgiving, his kindergarten teacher told me the other day she thinks he is the nicest child in her class! What a Complement! He is really sweet, when he finds something good he wants to share it with everyone. He loves to ride the bus to school and tells me about twice a week I need to ride it with him because it is so fun! When we go to the grocery store he ask me for a treat and I say sure, he has to get on for everyone because he wants everyone to have a special treat! (he will even get one for Jake) We are so lucky to have his sweet personality in our family!! Some things Marcus likes are; riding his bike, camping, fishing, playing with action figures, Cars stuff playing the WII and computer. His favorite foods are, Chicken Nuggets, Spaghetti, Mcdonalds, Pizza and Pickles! Marcus loves to play with all his friends, he has alot of friends!! (especially the girls!) We Love you Marcus!!

Birthday Boy!

We celebrated Madelynn, Marcus and Ashlie's Birthday at grandmas house. Marcus and his cousin Ashlie were born 5 days apart! They are good buddies, I hope they are always good friends!! Happy Birthday Marcus and Ashlie!

These two sure love each other!! Marcus and Madelynn are little buddies, sometimes they can also be enemies! They play together every morning before school. I thought this picture was really cute and wanted to share it!

Madeynn Turned 2!

I can't believe she is 2, were have the past two years gone?!? Our little Madelynn had a Birthday on April 2nd! What a fun little girl she is!! She sure keeps us going and going and going. She hit the "terrible two's" at one, when she started running!! I don't think she ever walked she just ran and ran. She is always up to something some of her latest adventures include, dumping a whole Gallon of bubbles down the drain and asking "were are the bubbles mommy?" She climbs everything, I have found her on top of the stove (starting the Microwave), sitting in the sink is her favorite and the other day she was on top of the Pool Table! (I have yet to figure that one out??) She is not afraid of much, just spiders and bugs mainly because her brothers chase her with them. We all love this girl!! She is so full of life it spills out of her!! Here are a few things she likes, Bubbles,talking, horses, dogs, jumping on anything, climbing, singing, butterflies (she spots them everywhere, its amazing), shoes, she loves her brothers and calls them all by a special name, "Pippza" and grapefruit are her favorite foods. A good day to Madelynn is when she gets a bubble bath and gets to go outside to see the horses, she loves the horses!! Happy Birthday Beautiful Girl!!

We got Madelynn a little trike for her Birthday, she loves it! We are waiting for nice weather so we can take it outside!

The Next American Idol?

Jake wanted me to post this on our blog! It is so funny to watch Madelynn sing, she really gets into it!! She will find the broom and sing into it but she always closes her eyes when she sings, she learned that from American Idol! When we are watching American Idol she is singing the whole time it is so so so funny!! I hope you all get a good laugh!

2009 Moab Jeep Safari!

This year all the boys headed to Moab for some Jeeping Fun. Jake, Matthew and Mckay went with my brother Craig his wife Jessica and my Dad. They go just about every year in April, this is the 3rd year in a row. The boys love Moab!! Matthew knows all the trials and most of there names, I dare say he could be a tour guide!! (to bad he can't remember his spelling words as good as he can remember the trails in Moab!) LOL Marcus was so excited to go this year and ended up being really sick and unable to go, he was very sad about that! We are glad he is feeling better. They took my Dad's "Hotel" his trailer and camped out! They all had a great time. They camp, 4 wheel in the sand dunes and ride trials all day! I stayed home with the two kids and had a nice quite weekend! I spent time with my sister and mom we all went shopping. All in all it was a GREAT weekend!
