I went to take a picture with our camera and the battery was dead. After I charged the battery this is what I found!! Wonder who took 16 of these pictures?!? You be the judge!

This trouble maker is always up to something. We all had a good laugh about these pictures!! I was surprised that she actually got one of her face, it was at the very end of all the pictures. This is typical trouble maker Monster Madelynn!! What a fun little girl she is!!

Happy Birthday Jake

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Jake!! It is Birthday season at our house we have 4 Birthdays in 3 weeks- crazy. Jake's birthday is on March 24th, and he will be..................... you'll have to guess. He is such an amazing person!! If you know what he has been threw in his life, it is amazing he is normal!! (foster care system-enough said!) Here are a few fun facts about Jake!!

** He is a Pepsiaholic!!

**Jake dreams of waking up one day and being able to play anything on the guitar.

** He is very talented!! (but doesn't think he is) If you have been in our beautiful home you would see his talent!! A little story just this week he build a custom mantle in our garage in 1 day it was awesome.

**Jake is a busy body- he can't stand to sit home-this economy thing is killing him!!

** Jake has a lot of hobbies- Boating, hunting, 4-wheeling, Jeeping, Camping, Fishing, golfing,basketball, baseball, playing guitar etc...I could go on and on......

**He can eat anything he wants (believe me he does) and not gain a pound. I am envious of this!!

**He is a GREAT Dad to our children.

** Jake doesn't seem to age!! People think he is a newly returned Missionary all the time.

**Jake is in the young mens in our ward and really enjoys that- he says it makes him feel young.

** Jake says his greatest blessing ever is to have his own family- He makes us feel this daily!!

Jake is a HUGE part of our family and we are so lucky to have him!!

A Crazy February

I haven't had alot of time to update our blog lately!! January was a pretty quite month for us, now February is crazy!! The most exciting thing that happened to us in January was that we sold our van!! That's great news for us, considering all the problems we have had with it over the last year!! We haven't had time to even look for a new car yet, we are just very happy to get rid of the one we had!! I am now driving Jake's BIG Ford Truck, its an adventure!! Anyway I am taking a CNA class this month, which is keeping us very busy!! I have to go to class Mon, Tue, Wed, from 4 to 10 pm, and I also have to do 3 clinicals (8 hours each) and take a CPR class. This is making February Crazy!! I have been wanting to take this class for years, it is so far going great! I really enjoy it and am learning alot! I am looking in to nursing schools and thinking of starting up in the Fall of 09. This is something I have always wanted to do, go back to school and become a nurse! Next year I will only have Madelynn at home all the boys will be in all day school! I think that will make it possible for me to go back to school! Anyway we will have to see what happens over the coming months! Jake is busy being Mr. Mom, he is taking care of homework, dinner and bed time in the evenings while I am at class. Which is not an easy task with 4 kids!! He is doing a great job, the kids sure love him! Well that's what we have been up to lately, hope you are all doing well!! Happy Valentines! Robert-Happy Birthday!!

Sledding Fun!

We love to go sledding. This is a few pictures of us sledding at Peetetneet in Payson! I think everyone in town sleds here, we always have a good time. We are always exhausted after an afternoon of sledding and walking up the big hill!! This year even Madelynn joined in on the fun, she liked sledding down with one of the boys but cried all the way up the hill!! What a girl!! It is a good time, and it's also a huge plus that is is only about 1 mile away from our house. Afterward we go home and enjoy a glass of hot chocolate! Fun Times!!

Look At Our Big Mound Of Snow!!

This big pile of snow sits between our yard and our neighbors, its not going to melt until June!! I actually like winter but I am sure ready for Spring!! What a wild and snowy winter it has been, thank goodness for four-wheelers!!

The Luckiest Girl Ever!!

Madelynn is so Lucky!! She has three brothers literally eating out of her hands. They will do anything she wants(including playing tea party with her). They love her alot! She always wants what ever they are eating- she just says "I wanna Bite?" and they share with her. As you can see she is sitting in the middle of the table (which she is not suppose to do!!) begging from Matthew- and of course got her way!! Lets just say this little girl is one lucky girl to have so much brotherly love!! Thank goodness for girls!!

A New Year!!

Well it is now 2009! We are glad for a new year! 2008 was a crazy and exciting year for us! For New Years we went to Jake's sisters and played games with his family it was a good time! We didn't plan on staying all night but ended up staying until about 12 pm. We are definitely getting old!! Staying up late isn't like it use to be! Anyway we look forward to a better year in 2009 and hope you all have a great year also!

This is a picture of my little Brother Robert! He wanted his dog to sit on Santa's lap so we made him sit also. He loves this poodle!! I think it is hilarious- he is this "cool" dude with a white poodle! Robert is single and a great catch if any one is looking??? (he is a fire fighter)

A Puppy For Christmas?!?!

This year for Christmas Marcus asked for a puppy!! He sat on Santa's lap twice and asked for a Dalmatian Puppy both times?! Thank goodness Santa Knows me and didn't send a puppy!! Marcus decided after Christmas that he must not have been very good because he didn't get a puppy. I told him Santa only brings Puppies to people who have fences!!

Christmas Break

We had a great Christmas this year! I haven't had time to update my blog so here is a recap of Christmas. We got to spend time with family and friends at various parties and had a great time! Its always nice to see everyone! For Christmas Eve we all go over to my parents house in Pleasant Grove for a party. Santa usually stops by to say hello to the kids. We order out Chinese food ( that's my mom's idea of cooking??). It is always a good time, we open gifts and eat and eat!! On Christmas we get up and unwrap presents and hang out! We always have a big breakfast- in fact our tradition is green pancakes! Which the kids love! For some reason they think green pancakes taste different then normal pancakes. (Whatever!) Then we play all day! This year we got the boys a WII! It was alot of fun-we had family and friends over all threw Christmas playing games on the WII. Matthew is really good at Guitar Hero! It would probably take me years to learn to play that game!! Usually on Christmas night we go to my parents and eat a big Christmas dinner. (Yummy ham from the honey baked ham store) This year Jakes parents came up from Arizona after Christmas and we got to visit with them- that was nice! We miss them! We had a great Christmas! It is always nice to reflect on how blessed we are for everything that we have!!

That's Not The "Real Santa"

So I think my 10 year old is starting to figure things out!! I over heard Matthew telling Mckay that this is not the "Real Santa". I asked him who he thought the real Santa was- he had no answer. We are going to have to have a little talk about Santa for sure by next Christmas! I cant believe I have a child that old-it makes me feel old!! For now will let him contemplate on the wonder of Santa!
